LNG and LPG are the tradable products of natural gas and petroleum. These are measured in terms of their fraction of petroleum itself, i.e., “crude oil” and “refined petroleum products.” Because these products are measured in volume, they can be traded like crude Oil and refined petroleum products, whose value is primarily derived from their transport cost.
